    1. ABOUT AFFIRM I AM

      Affirm I Am, LLC was founded by Alana Griffin, a Pittsburgh-based entrepreneur, author, community leader, wellness advocate, and mother. The company grew from a practice that began at home with her sons, Gabriel and Dimitri: speaking daily affirmations together to intentionally build confidence, identity, pride, and self-belief.

      What began as a family ritual grew into a vision for other children and families. Affirm I Am uses positive and wearable affirmations to encourage youth and adults to recognize the strength within themselves while honoring the leadership, courage, resilience, and legacy of those who came before them.

      Our products pair affirmations with living and past ancestors, transforming everyday clothing into opportunities for affirmation, education, identity-building, empowerment, and healing.

      WHERE IT BEGAN

      When Affirm I Am was first created, Gabriel shared the heart behind the brand in his own words:

      “Hi and welcome! My name is Gabriel. I am 8 years old and my brother's name is Dimitri and he is 6 years old. We are the inspiration behind Believe-I AM.

      We started doing daily affirmations a few years ago and have not stopped.”

      That foundation remains at the heart of Affirm I Am today.

      To inspire. To affirm. To believe in who we are.

      Affirm I Am continues to build upon the same foundation that started in our home: helping people, especially children, walk boldly in their identity, purpose, history, and power, one affirmation at a time.
